Wow! I’m so happy you commented. I expected a notification from the web host telling me I had a comment to approve. I was looking at comments in the first place to make a change to the only other comment on here that wasn’t made by me. So sorry to not work with you sooner. I have to admit, that much of the wisdom captured and passed along by classic Television was lost to me (you know I always preferred the feature film format). Right now I’m thinking about how I almost passed out during Uma Thurman’s overdose scene in PULP FICTION and sat in sinking darkness through the Christopher Walken watch scene that followed—not sure what that has to do with roosters and eggs but there is the military angle (which now makes me think of Vincent D’Onofrio’s character in FULL METAL JACKET 😬). Of course, I still have the Alfred Hitchcock cigar/bird framed photo and the binders full of all the film director bios (left unfinished, a massive undertaking that I respect you so much for attempting). Thank you for some very cherished memories!
I’m now dwelling on Alfred Hitchcock and, when reflecting back on my own life, find it interesting that many of my intimate “firsts” have been with blonde women. Hair color had never been a priority to me.
The moral of the story: perhaps an only child that grows up spending most of their time watching movies is going to bond more to people that also enjoy movies.
Remember this…….No matter how good you are, you can’t get an egg from a rooster !
