The Job Pursuit

J.R. Wudel wrote The Job Pursuit and would now describe it as a romantic comedy—although, he doesn’t claim to be that funny and proposed to his wife while they sat on the couch watching Television, so how romantic could he possibly be?—as his second screenplay. He let his mother read it, and she said, “It’s nothing but a bunch of people just talking.” Since all the action takes place over one day in a Condo, J.R. thought that converting it to a stage play would make sense. Then he thought about it some more and realized that it might be easier to market as a stage play instead of a film since they are usually much cheaper to produce than movies, and he might attract more interest in the work from those willing to produce it.

So read the first act by tapping the title, BUY IT once it’s published, and then make the production a reality.
