I feel passionate about the subject matter. It broke my heart when I applied with the screenplay of this work to the Sundance Feature Film Workshop and received the generic rejection letter. I wrote the screenplay before the turbulence during the 2020 elections and believe the subject matter lends itself to the political climate that caused it.
