The music was created using ProTools Free, 8-track software on my old PowerBook. I did not intend for the instruments to be out of sync, I just suffered the lag time. However, I think that this adds to the beauty of the project’s aim at emotional discontent. Especially as the timing comes together much better after the fire has been lit.

In regards to this work, I’d like to acknowledge silent cinema without title cards. Tangentially, the Chase Park Plaza Cinema still has an organ and organist, if I remember correctly his name is Greg—watching them perform before a movie is a real treat. A couple years ago the cinema showed the silent PHANTOM OF THE OPERA with live organ accompaniment—that’s more than a treat… That’s a feast!
