  1. Interestingly, this story came about after a spur of the moment decision to fly home from Santa Barbara for Christmas. My Mother always was a big, IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE, fan. I showed up at the airport without a ticket, but was able to secure a last minute, discounted flight, by simply talking to the airline attendant—I wish I could remember which airline it was. I wish I had taken the time to talk to more people throughout my life, but who knows how the decision to stay in a conversation, or go, is made? Perhaps, I had been paid forward for the discount after experiencing a real death-like experience shortly before the flight—the result of not talking to more people about my inner struggles. I’ve got to thank Bill, also seen in HOLY REVENGE, for the ride to the airport in the first place.
